How? as a result of the greenhouse's inherently warmer interior than its outside A greenhouse's glass construction lets sunshine enter from the outside, warming the air and plants inside. The glass prevents the heat from escaping that is not absorbed by the plants. The interior becomes increasingly warmer throughout the day as more and more heat energy is added by sunlight passing through the glass (and remains warm even after the sun has set).
